San Diego-based Pacific Southwest Airlines reported that December's passenger revenue miles totaled 240.6 million, a decrease of 9.8% from a year earlier . . . Equitable Life Assurance Society said that it had been tendered 86% of Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette's common stock under its $433-million offer for the investment firm . . . The state attorney general's office received a continuance of a temporary restraining order against Allegro Cruises until a hearing is held Jan. 24. The hearing was originally scheduled for Tuesday. MCI Mail said it is reducing prices for its Telex Dispatch service by as much as 38% . . . West Bend, a subsidiary of Dart & Kraft, and Borg-Erickson have reached an agreement for West Bend to acquire the Borg bathroom-scale business for undisclosed terms.
