3 Ex-Presidents Won't See Reagan Take Office Again

WASHINGTON — Although all have been invited, none of the three former Presidents of the United States is planning to attend Ronald Reagan's second inauguration Monday.

Richard Nixon is ill with the shingles and will stay home in Saddle River, N.J.

Gerald Ford sent regrets to Sen. Charles McC. Mathias, chairman of the congressional committee that is staging a luncheon for Reagan after his swearing-in.

Jimmy Carter's office said he will be traveling, but not to Washington.
