R. T. Patterson Will Receive Wells Award

January 27, 1985

Ronald T. Patterson of Monsanto Co. will receive the highest honor of the Western Manufactured Housing Institute--the Jack E. Wells Memorial Award--on March 1 at the institute's annual meeting in Palm Springs.

The honoree joined Monsanto's Engineered Products Division in 1966 as a salesman for the firm's Fome-Cor product line, serving the manufactured housing industry.

He served for three years on the institute's board of directors and another three years on its supplier board of governors, including terms on each as vice chairman and chairman; two years on the energy advisory committee, including a term as chairman, and two years on the supplier show committee, with a term as chairman. He also became the "perennial chairman" of the institute's annual golf tournament.
