Jack R. Harter has been promoted to president and chief operating officer and Antonio B. Mon has been named executive vice president of the $130-million revenue, multi-state residential development firm of M. J. Brock & Sons Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Philadelphia-based Fortune 500 company, CIGNA Corp.
Harter succeeds Richard C. Chenoweth, who will remain as chief executive officer but will also serve as chairman of the board of directors.
Other corporate appointments include Robert L. Olin, senior vice president, Corporate Residential Group; Todd Cunningham, vice president and division manager, Orange County Residential Division, replacing Olin; Dennis Dover, vice president/division manager of the Los Angeles Residential Division, and Donald Reed, vice president and division manager, Northern California Residential Division, replacing Carroll E. Brock, who will remain as senior vice president and a member of the Brock board of directors as well as an ongoing adviser and consultant to the Northern California operations.
The management changes were made in conjunction with a major corporate restructuring to provide Brock with more options and opportunities for expansion. For the first time, Brock will this year enter into joint ventures with other financial institutions to further increase its volume.
