Parfait Pie Uses Yogurt, Strawberries

Looking for a tasty way to slip some calcium into your family's diet? Strawberry Parfait Pie, made with strawberries and yogurt, is a suggestion.



1 (3-ounce) package strawberry gelatin

1 cup boiling water

2 cups strawberry yogurt

1 1/2 cups sliced strawberries

1 (9-inch) single-crust pie shell, baked

2 tablespoons powdered sugar

1 cup whipping cream

6 whole strawberries

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water and cool to room temperature. Blend in yogurt. Arrange sliced berries over bottom of pie shell. Pour in gelatin mixture. Chill several hours or until firm. Add powdered sugar to whipping cream. Garnish pie with sweetened whipped cream and whole strawberries. Makes 6 servings.
