Lab's Nerve Gas Research Halted by Court Ruling

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — Nerve gas research was suspended Wednesday at Arthur D. Little Inc. laboratories, the day after a judge upheld a ban on testing chemical warfare agents in the city.

Since January, 1984, the firm has been experimenting with three kinds of nerve gas and two types of blistering mustard gas, all in liquid form.
