Interstate 5 was closed for more than four hours near Weed in Northern California after a tractor-trailer rig went out of control on icy pavement and overturned, spilling 2,500 gallons of gasoline. The California Highway Patrol said the driver, Kurt Schultz, 43, of Paradise, was trying to pass another vehicle. He was not injured.
