Bethlehem Steel raised its base prices on wide flange, standard structural shapes and H-piles by 4.37%, or $20 per ton, effective with shipments March 31 . . . California Almond Growers Exchange, which handled more than 35% of the world's almond crop last year, expects to increase exports to Taiwan as a result of U.S.-Taiwanese negotiations that slashed the 100% tariff on bulk almonds to 25% and to 35% on consumer items.
