Tak Fujii, who served as associate vice president of construction and architecture for the Los Angeles Olympic Organizing Committee, has joined Glenfed Development Corp., Encino.

Ben Slayton, president and co-founder of Blue Ribbon Financial Services in 1981, has been named president of Johnston Mortgage Co. West, Canoga Park, which purchased the Blue Ribbon company last September; Cyndy Herms was appointed marketing manager of West Coast operations for the parent company, Johnston American Companies, based in Atlanta.

Barry S. Noble, a vice president of administration for the Becket Group, Los Angeles since 1961, has been named senior vice president/corporate administration.

Sally Armstrong, an interior designer with 15 years design managing experience, has joined the Stichler Group Inc., San Diego, as director of its new interior architecture division.

Charles L. Foster has joined First American Title Insurance Co. as assistant vice president in charge of the information systems department.

Charles R. Kanne Jr., formerly vice president and manager of Cushman & Wakefield of California's San Fernando Valley office, is now vice president of Katell Properties Inc., Torrance.

Robert M. Hodies, department manager and senior vice president of the newly formed loan department of Independence Savings & Loan Assn., Santa Fe Springs, has been appointed head of statewide lending operations for the firm.

Patrick G. Finan, formerly with Barratt American, has joined Pardee Construction Co. as Los Angeles area sales manager.

Andrew E. Carlson has been named vice chairman of C. L. Peck Contractor, Los Angeles. Most recently he was group vice president/U. S. operations for the Austin Co.

Brian Petersen has joined the RREEF Funds as Southern California regional manager for its property management group. He was affiliated with Coldwell Banker Real Estate Management Services.

Ferris Zoe, former principal of Ferris Zoe Design & Space Planning, Santa Monica, has joined the firm of Western Office, Los Angeles, as executive planning consultant.

Richard Hancock, previously a sales manager with Bethlehem Steel Corp., has joined R. P. S. Inc., a reinforcing post-tensioning services firm in Claremont.

Bob Head of Thermador/Waste King was honored by the National Assn. of Home Builders with a Salesperson of the Year award at the group's annual meeting in Houston. He was recognized for achievement in the area of builder sales.

Amo L. Etlin, with more than 20 years experience in real estate sales, has joined Vistar Financial Inc., Marina del Rey.

Gaye Tomita, a former corporate controller for Pacesetter Homes Inc., has joined Overton, Moore & Associates Inc. of Carson as controller.

Robert L. Thomas, a senior vice president of regional development for Century 21 Real Estate Corp., has been appointed regional director of Century 21 of the Pacific Inc.

Ignacio J. Gonzalez has joined McClellan Cruz Gaylord & Associates, Pasadena, as senior project designer; he has had 12 years experience in designing hotels and other structures.

William John Warkentin, most recently owner of Warkentin Architectural Group, is a principal/partner in the newly merged firm of Warkentin Cox Architects, Costa Mesa, with Thomas P. Robert M. Holmes, chairman and chief executive officer of Oltmans Construction Co. of Monterey Park and past president of the California Building Industry Assn., has been elected to the board of directors of the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce and chairman of its Construction Industries Committee.
