Richard M. Cannon has joined the Watson Land Co., Los Angeles, as executive vice president. He joins the firm after 15 years of service with the Irvine Co.

Austris J. Vitols, president of architecture and engineering of Hope Consulting Group, San Diego, also assumes responsibility as director of design. He previously served as chief designer of Hope's San Francisco office.

Michael Bensch, former director of design for the Los Angeles office of CRSS/EPR, has joined Reback Design Associates Inc., Los Angeles, as vice president of design.

Kenneth H. Klopp has been named senior vice president and general manager of Barclay Hollander Corp., Inglewood. He had served as senior vice president and chief operating officer for IDM Corp., Long Beach.

Norma Lynn Cutler, president of The Good Guise, Encino advertising and public relations firm, was the recipient of two MIRM gold awards from members of the Institute of Residential Marketing: for the best community brochure, created for the Valencia Co., and for an advertisement created for Urban West Communities.

Ron Golden has been appointed assistant vice president for corporate and subdivision sales for Continental Land Title Co. of Ventura.

Tricia Moore has been appointed executive vice president of the Beverly Hills Board of Realtors. She has been associated with that organization since 1981.

John G. Ellis, has been named partner in the firm of Lea Associates Inc., a West Los Angeles-based real estate consulting and appraisal firm.

Gregory J. Ricker has been promoted from project manager to general superintendent at Harper Development & Construction Co., Mira Mesa.

Jean A. Pickens, real estate analyst with Coldwell Banker Real Estate Consultation Services, has been named an assistant vice president; Ron Azad, an asset manager for Coldwell Banker Capital Management Services, Los Angeles, has been appointed an assistant vice president; Ronald E. Malmfeldt, manager of the Los Angeles office of Coldwell Banker Real Estate Appraisal Services, has been appointed a vice president.

Robert Goetsch has been named vice president of the Lee Sammis Co., Irvine, with responsibilities for new business opportunities.

Meenas Manjikian, formerly with Ernst & Whinney, has been appointed senior director of loan originations at George Smith Financial Services, Los Angeles, a division of Grubb & Ellis. Richard C. Bopp has been named senior director of loan originations for the firm, where he has served as senior director of institutional placements.

Jacqueline Rhodes, former chief bond underwriter with Al Barker Bonds, has joined the firm of Commercial Surety Bond Agency as manager of the new Los Angeles area office in Burbank.

Margaret E. Ferguson has been named vice president of Costa Construction Inc., Carlsbad. She served as administrative assistant to San Diego County Supervisor Paul Eckert.
