Oak Industries delayed interest payments again.

March 26, 1985

Oak said it delayed until April 30 payments that had been due Feb. 1 on $100 million of 10.5% debentures as well as interest scheduled for payment April 1 on $100 million of 13.65% debentures. The troubled San Diego-based media and cable-TV equipment maker delayed making the payments while awaiting the close of a $230-million debt exchange offer.
