The fifth-ranked Cal State Fullerton women's gymnastics team scored 185.35 points Saturday night to win the NCAA West Regionals at Gill Coliseum on the Oregon State University campus in Corvallis, Ore.
Oregon State (184.45) was second, followed by Washington (182.40), UCLA (177.60), Stanford (177.15) and Washington State (174.95).
With the victory, the Titans earned their 10th straight trip to the NCAA finals on April 12 and 13 in Salt Lake City. This is Fullerton's eighth regional title and third straight in the 10 years that the gymnastics program has existed.
The Titans' Tami Elliott was second in the all-around competition with 37.45 points. She placed behind Oregon State's Heidi Anderson (37.55). Fullerton's Taunia Rogers (37.35) was third.
Elliott won the uneven bars with a score of 9.65 and was second on the balance beam with a 9.60. Rogers was second on the bars with 9.60.
