Dana Hills' McSweeney Heads South All-Star Basketball Team

Two-time Times' all-county basketball selection Bryan McSweeney of Dana Hills High School heads the list of players who will compete for the South team in the Orange County All-Star game June 22 in Peterson Gym at Costa Mesa.

McSweeney, who will attend Stanford in the fall, was twice named the Most Valuable Player in the South Coast League. Joining him on the 12-man team are three players from Newport Harbor--guard Chuck McGavran and forwards Rob Mase and Alan Fraser. Newport Harbor's Jerry DeBusk will coach the team.

The South team:
