The Calendar Letters Page on April 14 appealed--in all semi-seriousness--to the reader-masses for fresh, new ideas to help save network television. The first thing to do to improve network TV programming is to get rid of all the presidents and vice presidents who have been making the decisions. It's apparent from the ratings that whatever they are doing is wrong.
One of the worst offenders is Brandon Tartikoff, who is now getting the credit for bringing NBC into second place. Big deal! It only means NBC is less awful than ABC, thanks to Bill Cosby.
