Quakes Jolt Italian Area

L'AQUILA, Italy--Two sharp earthquakes shook an area northeast of Rome on Monday, the Italian police said. No injuries or serious damage was reported in the city of L'Aquila, capital of the Abruzzi region, 60 miles from Rome. Minor tremors hit the same area Sunday.
