One unidentified bettor Thursday correctly picked the winners of the second-through-seventh races in the Hollywood Park Perfect Six betting pool and won $348,826. And forty cents.
The payoff was the third-highest since Pick Six-type betting was introduced at the track in 1980. The total pool of $560,665 included a $124,784.70 carryover from Wednesday. There were 97 consolation tickets, each worth $2,309.60.
The only larger Perfect Six payoffs at Hollywood Park were $466,157.20 on July 4, 1983 and $375,897.80 on June 15, 1980.
