Lisa Hartman of "Knots Landing" will star in a female version of "Beverly Hills Cop." The movie is called "Beverly Hills Cowgirl Blues" and will be seen on CBS next season. She plays a police detective from Wyoming who goes to Beverly Hills to investigate the death of her best friend. James Brolin of "Hotel" co-stars as a Beverly Hills cop.

Three star-studded movies in the works for ABC: Elizabeth Taylor will play a woman coming to grips with her alcoholism in "From This Day Forward". . . . Richard Chamberlain will have the title role in "Casanova". . . . Ann-Margret will star in "The Jeanne Eckmann Story" as a nun who is raped, becomes pregnant and chooses to raise the child.

NBC is putting a little star power to work too: Would you believe a teaming of Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly? The Peacock Network has them slated to star in "A Nice, Pleasant, Deadly Weekend in Palm Springs," a TV movie. The premier male film dancers portray a retired thief (Astaire) and a detective (Kelly) who join forces to solve a murder.

No more surveys: "Family Feud" is about to fade into history. The show already had been dropped from syndication and now it's about to leave the network too. ABC says the final broadcast will be June 28. The long-running game show will be replaced by reruns of the defunct comedy series "Angie," starring Donna Pescow and Robert Hays.

Briefly noted: Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton will be seen performing in concert together in a special that Home Box Office plans to run in July. . . . ABC is developing two "comedy serials," along the lines of "Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman," which could be added to its daytime schedule in the near future. . . . Anson Williams, who used to play Potsie on "Happy Days," will direct a children's special for ABC, "No Greater Love," about the friendship between two 12-year-old boys, one of whom is terminally ill. Williams helped write the story for the drama and also serves as co-executive producer.
