Though I have never seen X perform live, after hearing nothing but raves from the likes of Robert Hilburn and others, I assumed they had an X-citing stage act to partly compensate for the X-treme unattractiveness of Exene. Then I saw their videos and knew they didn't.
Then I thought that even though the music drowned out their lyrics, they must have had something X-tra to say to compensate for the X-cruciating awfulness of Exene's "singing" voice. Now I know that to be untrue.
X's words are nothing more than simple blabbering from an egocentric, self-appointed "artist."
