Attention "Call to Glory" fans. Despite the series' cancellation, ABC plans to telecast a two-hour episode June 30 that hasn't been seen before. In it, Air Force Col. Raynor Sarnac (Craig T. Nelson) flies to Dallas in November, 1963, to deliver a report about his recent trip to Vietnam to his commander-in-chief: President John F. Kennedy.
Also due June 30 on ABC, just before "Call to Glory," is a new animated version of "The Wind in the Willows." Charles Nelson Reilly will be the voice of Mr. Toad, Eddie Bracken of Mr. Mole, Roddy McDowall of Ratty and Jose Ferrer of Badger.
NBC plans to air a rerun of "Family Ties" July 4, but it's one that ties in to the holiday. Alex (Michael J. Fox) dreams he is at the Constitutional Convention of 1776 and must convince Thomas Jefferson (Michael Gross) to write the Declaration of Independence.
"Mystery!" will open its new season in October on PBS with "Death of an Expert Witness," a six-part drama based on the novel by P.D. James. It stars Roy Marsden as a Scotland Yard detective who is called on to investigate the murder of a young woman.
