Two gas pipeline firms agreed to end a partnership.

El Paso Natural Gas and Northern Natural Gas said they have agreed to dissolve their 2-month-old El North Gas Marketing Co. in Kern County. The firm was dissolved because Northern Natural's parent, InterNorth, is merging with Houston Natural Gas, which owns a natural gas pipeline that serves the Kern County oil fields.
