Globetrotter Prospect--Jackie White, who played last season for Cal State Long Beach, was one of eight women picked to attend the Harlem Globetrotters' training camp this fall in Los Angeles. The team's first woman will be selected at the camp.

Signs With Chargers--John Hendy, a cornerback from Cal State Long Beach, has signed a three-year contract with the San Diego Chargers. Hendy was a third-round draft choice.

605 Game--Darren Hughes and Devin Cooper of Lynwood High School scored touchdowns as the South, coached by Lynwood's Larry Anderson, defeated the North, 30-13, in the Whittier Kiwanis 605 All-Star Game last Friday night at Cerritos College.
