Independence Square, a 55-unit apartment development by CoastFed Properties, opens for leasing today at 6732 Independence Ave., Canoga Park.
Occupancy is scheduled for Aug. 15, and monthly rents for the one- and two-bedroom units range from $525 to $800. Five floor plans are offered, with 480 to 893 square feet of living area.
A spa and pool area are featured in the three-story development near Vanowen Street. All units feature built-in kitchen appliances, air conditioning, balconies in upstairs units and patios in downstairs units.
The rental office and furnished model apartments are open daily from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Independence Avenue is two blocks west of De Soto Avenue. Mayer Management Inc., CoastFed's property management unit, will handle leasing and property management.
