More than half of the 41-unit first phase of S&S Construction Co.'s development of 148 planned condominiums, priced from $69,900, were sold at Village Niguel Terrace in Laguna within the first three months of release. Orange County bond financing is available for the units with a fixed rate of 9.9% for 30 years.

Sales far exceeded expectations in the final phase of the Villas at Monarch Beach, a Stein-Brief Group development, with eight homes of 30 sold the first week they were available at prices from $299,000.

The sale of 33 condominiums and single-family homes by Long Beach-based Guy Gagnon Construction Co. Inc. resulted in a company record for number of homes sold in a 45-day period. Prices started at $69,500.

Two years after it became the first major affordable housing development to be undertaken under Ventura County's affordable housing program, Heather Glen, Calabasas-based Griffin Homes' community of 191 single-family homes in Moorpark, has been sold out at prices from $89,950 to $128,950.

Since the grand opening in June, 51 of the 58 single-family homes released in all three phases of Woodcrest Development's Countrywalk in Yorba Linda have been sold for a total sales volume of more than $9 million.
