August 18, 1985

Hampton Inn hotels in Oakland and Mission Viejo will be designed and constructed by the M. H. Golden Co. of San Diego for INNSCO Ltd. of La Jolla. Each hotel will contain about 150 guest units and cost $3 million.

Austin Hansen Fehlman Group has been selected as project architect for the two planned hotels, designed primarily for family and business travelers. The hotels, which will vary from two to five stories, are the first of several to be built during the next few years by Hampton Inn Division, a subsidiary of Holiday Corp.
