Silicon Systems Inc. of Tustin Wednesday announced that its recent offering of $25 million in convertible subordinated debentures was oversubscribed by $3.2 million. The offering was made by L.F. Rothschild, Unterberg, Towbin and Robertson, Colman & Stephens.

The company which designs, develops, manufactures and markets semiconductors, said it plans to use the net proceeds to acquire additional equipment for its Singapore test assembly and design facility and its Tustin wafer fabrication facility. It will also use the funds to enhance its computer-aided-design system and for general corporate purposes.
