Three people were injured Sunday morning when their pickup truck overturned on the westbound Simi Valley Freeway ramp to the San Diego Freeway, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The 1:07 a.m. accident forced closure of the transition road for 45 minutes while an emergency crew freed a passenger trapped under the vehicle, CHP Officer Michael Kerr said.
Connie Gregory, 22, of Canoga Park was in serious condition Sunday evening at Holy Cross Hospital in Mission Hills with a broken leg and other injuries, a hospital spokeswoman said. The other two passengers have not been identified.
Kerr said he did not know the cause of the accident.
