September 19, 1985

Cocaine and methamphetamines worth $5 million were seized in a raid by police at the Zorike Scrap Co. at 112 W. Maple Ave. at what police called a methamphetamine lab. Anthony Delguzzi of Monrovia, owner of the purportedly defunct scrap company, and John Brady of San Gabriel, are each being held in lieu of $1 million bail. Authorities found 20 pounds of methamphetamines, 100 pounds of chemicals used to produce the drugs in a homemade still and 10 pounds of cocaine, said Monrovia Police Lt. Robert Page.
