If the Navy ever finds the sailors who used North Island Naval Air Station phones to make 56 "dial-a-porn" calls at $2 each during a single day two months ago, the culprits will be punished with "counseling," a spokesman for the station in San Diego said. The calls were made from the 350-member Aircraft Intermediate Maintenance Department, but when the sailors were asked who used the phones to listen to sexy talk, no one confessed. "So," spokesman Ken Mitchell said, "we passed a hat around and everyone chipped in to pay the bill."
