fashion flak

September 29, 1985

What a day this has been! It all started when I sat up in my $10,000 Angelo Donghia bed, sipping coffee from my Limoges cup, reached for the Home magazine (the very first thing I read in the Sunday Times) and saw your fabulous fashion spread. I threw back my Porthault linens, pulled on my Sonia Rykiel pants and hand-woven silk blouse and was off in my Silver Shadow. I bought every one of those glorious things. It amounted to about $7,000. I lost count but who cares? Now I plan to be the best-dressed clinical worker in town. Now it will be easier than ever to dance off to Regine's on my twinkling toes by Amalfi. Such fun! Do you like this stationery? Isn't it elegant? My little friend (she's not allowed to call me grandmother) got it at Scruples. She just won't shop anywhere but at Billie's little boutique; she's only 12, isn't that precious? Yours for more great shopping advice, Princess Daisy.
