William D. Lang has been appointed president and chief executive of Ticor Realty Tax Services, Los Angeles. Lang was formerly partner in charge of management consulting services for Coopers & Lybrand, Newport Beach.

Charles W. Johnson Jr. has been named vice president and chief financial officer of Glenfed Development Corp., the residential building subsidiary of Glendale Federal Savings.

Jack Custer, Irvine Pacific Development Company's director of sales for custom home sites, has been appointed a member of the National Assn. of Homebuilders Institute of Residential Marketing.

Toni Tucker has been appointed to the position of marketing director of Oaktree Development Co., San Diego. She will oversee all marketing campaigns for the firm's active developments.

Anthony A. Hedayat, formerly with EnSign Corp. and MVA Design Group of Costa Mesa, has been named projects coordinator for Gilbert Aja Associates, Laguna Hills.

Sandy Scott has joined Presley of Southern California, Irvine, as assistant sales manager; she will assist in the monitoring of sales campaigns.

Scott A. Smith has joined the Ross Co., Newport Beach, as director of acquisition and planning; he will oversee site selection, cost analysis and land acquisition.

Charity Crawford has been designated as administrator of a new transportation management program being implemented by the Irvine Co., Irvine, to increase transportation resources for employees in Irvine Spectrum.

Rick Doremus, founder and president of EPAC Development, Long Beach, has accepted an appointment as honorary member of the advisory board of Multi-Housing West, a conference to be held Dec. 15-17 in Anaheim, sponsored by Multi-Housing News, New York.

C. Michael Maher has been appointed president of Traweek Securities Inc., a subsidiary of Traweek Investment Co. Inc., Marina del Rey. He will continue to serve as senior executive vice president of Traweek Investment Co.

Jo Love, a sales associate of Jon Douglas Co., has been named manager of the company's Hancock Park office.

American Assets Inc., San Diego, has appointed Joanie Torres vice president of residential development.

Peter T. O'Neill has been named regional manager of the recently opened Charter Commercial Brokerage office in Los Angeles. The parent firm is Marcus & Millichap Inc., Palo Alto.

Ray Griffith has been named director of operations for The City, a mixed-use development in Orange, of which Tishman West Management Corp. is a co-developer with Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. John Ripp has been named assistant building manager.

Van Hurst of Los Angeles was elected a Fellow of the International Society of Interior Designers, of which he is second vice president, at the group's fifth annual conference in Miami Beach. The ceremonies were attended by other Southland society Fellows and officers: June Towill Brown, international president, Los Angeles; past international chairman, Donald Parker, international chairman of the board, of Palm Springs, and Patti Richards, international conference chairman, San Fernando.

Peter Devereaux, formerly with Cesar Pelli & Associates of New Haven, Conn., has joined the firm of Fields & Silverman, Los Angeles, as principal designer.

Ken Smith, a senior project designer with McClellan Cruz Gaylord & Associates, has been elected to a three-year term on the board of directors of the Friends of the Gamble House, designed by Greene & Greene.

Frank Hickman, a 15-year Tishman veteran, has been promoted to vice president of Tishman Realty Corp. of California. Most recently he served as assistant to the president of Tishman Construction Corp of California.
