October 22, 1985

An early-morning fire destroyed a sea food restaurant in Tarzana on Monday, a Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman said.

The fire broke out at the Sea Food Broiler in the 5500 block of Reseda Boulevard at about 4:35 a.m. and was brought under control about 5:10 a.m. by 20 firefighters, spokesman Greg Acevedo said.

An investigation to determine the cause of the fire is continuing, Acevedo said. There were no injuries and a damage figure was not immediately available.
