Police arrested two teen-aged boys on suspicion of burglary after capturing them on the grounds of Warren High School in Downey, where several hundred students' lockers had been looted. Officers, who went to the school in response to a telephone call from a passer-by, who heard "banging" sounds coming from the grounds, captured Michael Shane Campbell, 18, of South Gate, and a 17-year-old from Downey, and found their bicycles loaded with clothing, pocket calculators, small radios, cameras and other items stolen from lockers there and at Downey High School. Several hundred lockers had been broken into and looted at the two schools, police said.
