Fire Damages Restaurant: A fire of unknown origin caused $72,800 damage to the La Brochette Restaurant, 22922 Los Alisos Blvd., Mission Viejo, an Orange County Fire Department spokesman said. The fire spread in a restroom area and into the ceiling of the restaurant, which was closed when the blaze broke out, Fire Capt. Lou Furst said. About 30 firefighters, five engines, one truck company and one paramedic unit were dispatched to the scene. No one was injured. It took firefighters 34 minutes to control the blaze, which caused $52,800 damage to the structure and $20,000 to contents of the restaurant, Furst said.
