'Impossible Star Wars?'

Your excellent column on the "Star Wars" delusion should be required reading for all Americans, particularly children, who are even being misled by child cartoons.

Goodwin laments men of power swayed more by desire and wishful thinking than reason. We might add those spending most of their lives as actors finding it difficult to return to reality and never fully accomplished.

Winston Churchill claimed war was too important to be left to the military. Nuclear war is too important to be left to politicians.
