Orange County JANE APPLEGATE and Wade Cable, 36, has been named to succeed Randall E. Presley as
president of Presley Cos., one of California's largest home builders. Cable is to take office in June. He currently is executive vice president of the real estate group of Pacific Lighting Corp., which acquired Irvine-based Presley last December in a stock swap. and In addition, Terrance Barry, 46, is resigning as executive vice
president of Presley Cos. to form his own building company. No one yet has been appointed to succeed Barry, who will stay until Oct. 31 to help Cable make the transition from Pacific Lighting. and Presley, 66, had sought the merger-takeover of the company that bears
his name and in which he was a 35% shareholder. Sale of the company was part of his plan to retire, after 39 years in residential real estate development. and Cable joined Fredricks Development Corp., another Pacific Lighting
subsidiary, in 1974. He served as president of both Fredricks Development and Pacific Lighting Properties before attaining his current position. and Sonoma International, a Huntington Beach real estate developer with
annual sales of about $1.5 million, announced Tuesday that David S. Hancock has replaced William A. Morse as president and chief executive and will serve as a company director. Bill Vasilios and Albert Vaber have also been named to Sonoma's board of directors, the company said.
