Ticket scalping is almost as old as the game of football, and now New York Giants punter Sean Landeta has been accused of scalping tickets for his team's wild-card playoff game last Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers.

Landeta allegedly sold tickets regularly obtainable for $22 and $25 for $50 and gave buyers an autographed picture with a purchase, according to James J. Barry, New York State's Consumer Affairs director.

"The Division of Consumer Affairs has to contend with professional ticket scalpers," Barry said. "The last thing we need is for professional athletes to get involved."
