My wife and I are extremely disappointed with many of the changes on "Hill Street Blues" since the departure of (executive producer) Steven Bochco. Although there are occasional glimpses of its former glory, overall the show seems darker and more violent than ever before. We hope that the current production regime will reassess what made the show great and try to recapture the spirit of the show. Until then, we'll have to be content with the best show currently on TV, "St. Elsewhere," and hope for a speedy recovery of our former favorite.
