Arco reported that it might break even for 1985.

January 07, 1986

Chairman Lodwrick Cook said the break-even scenario doesn't include terms of a final settlement with the Department of Energy on charges that Arco violated oil price controls. Arco has already offered to set aside $225 million as a pretax reserve in that matter, and the final figure could be higher. Analysts have been expecting Arco to break even or record a slight loss.
