RICHFIELD, Ohio — Tatu scored his second goal of the game at 9:49 of the first double overtime in Major Indoor Soccer League history Friday night, lifting the Dallas Sidekicks to a 5-4 victory over the Cleveland Force.
Tatu took a pass from Mike Uremovich and scored his league-leading 27th goal on a 12-foot shot to the left of goalkeeper P.J. Johns. The goal ended the longest game in league history after 84 minutes and 49 seconds.
Dallas, which snapped a three-game losing streak, also got two goals from Diego Castro.
Sidekick goalie Krys Sobieski held his former teammates scoreless for the final 40:58 as he beat the Force for the second time this season at the Richfield Coliseum.
