The State

January 20, 1986

Assembly Republican Leader Pat Nolan of Glendale will be the statewide chairman of Los Angeles County Supervisor Mike Antonovich's primary election campaign for the GOP U.S. Senate nomination. Nolan, who is also directing the party's Assembly campaign, said his largely honorary role in Antonovich's effort would be his only involvement this year for a statewide candidate. Antonovich is one of at least 10 Republicans running for the right to challenge Democratic Sen. Alan Cranston in the November general election.
