The Knolls of Walnut, a development of 185 single-family homes, opens today in Walnut with 20 units.
W & A Builders, a subsidiary of Watt Industries, is developing the homes, priced from $144,900 to $177,900. Features include three or four bedrooms, two or three baths and a family room in 1,635 to 2,100 square feet of space.
Other interior amenities are sloped ceilings, skylights, air conditioning and formal living and dining areas. Exteriors will have extensive use of brick, stone and wood. New England design is one of several architectural styles offered.
Models and the sales office are open daily, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at 511 Amethyst Lane, near Nogales Avenue and Shakespeare Drive. Phase 1 move-ins are scheduled in May.
