Hazzard Has Brought a Touch of Class to UCLA

February 08, 1986

In regard to the recent letters, the UCLA basketball coach has plenty of class. He has never directed blame for a loss on his players, doesn't use profanity and uplifts his team with positive encouragement.

Walt Hazzard is trying to rebuild a poorly recruited team without a center and is doing better than most. At least L.A. fans don't have a chair-throwing coach like the one in the Midwest.
