February 16, 1986|Pat H. Broeske

Mike's still rolling. Er, marching.

The canine co-star of "Down and Out in Beverly Hills" will be a celebrity participant in the March 16 Bev Hills' St. Patrick's Day Parade (Gene Kelly's grand marshal).

Mike's not Irish, but the Scottish border collie will be leading his Celtic cousins--Irish wolfhounds. Mike didn't have to audition, but the wolfhounds do. (Open call begins at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Bev Hills Family Y.)

This week, Mike's also will visit Tail O' the Pup, L.A.'s legendary hot dog stand. He'll leave his pawprints in cement.
