Architect Harmon to Receive Prestigious Kemper Award

Architect Harry Harmon has been selected to receive the highest honor of the American Institute of Architects, the Edward C. Kemper Award, for 1986.

The presentation will be made during the AIA's national convention June 8-11 in San Antonio. Harmon was chosen by the board of directors of the institute in recognition of his four decades of service to the architectural profession and the AIA.

Harmon is a Fellow of the institute, a member of the Los Angeles chapter, a former executive vice chancellor of the California State University system, and the head of his own Rancho Bernardo consulting service.
