Constance Ledendecker has received the medalist award, highest honor bestowed by the American Society of Interior Designers, for her contributions as a member of the ASID Pasadena chapter.

Jack Hartung, formerly senior vice president of Ponderosa Homes, has been named vice president-general manager of Republic Development Co., Newport Beach.

Richard H. Williams, formerly with Surfland Development Corp., has been named vice president/general manager for the San Diego office of M. H. Golden Co., San Diego.

Elizabeth Christian, former co-owner and editor of the Mendocino Grapevine, a weekly newspaper based in Ukiah, has joined the staff of Carl Terzian Associates as director of media relations.

Larry D. Riggs has been promoted to vice president of sales and marketing for Warmington Homes, Costa Mesa.

Graham M. Marriott has joined IHR America, Los Angeles, as senior vice president of Group Advisory Services, specializing in appraisal and development feasibility services.

Joel T. Callahan has been promoted to vice president in charge of the California office of Hill International Inc., Los Angeles, and is in charge of the firm's operations in the West, specializing in construction claims.

George Kauffman of the G. D. K. Co. North Hollywood, was honored at the annual installation dinner of the Plumbing Piping Industry Council for his role as chairman of the Piping Industry Progress and Education Trust Fund.

Richard C. Doyle, formerly in charge of sales and marketing at the Anaheim Hills planned community in Orange County, has been named vice president of Martin Advertising Inc., Tustin.

John F. Matthews, a former associate partner with Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, has joined Karsten Consultants, Los Angeles, as vice president.

Richard W. Traweek, president and chief executive officer of Traweek Investment Co. Inc., Marina del Rey, has been inducted into the El Segundo High School Hall of Fame; Traweek is a 1961 graduate of that school. Charles Crane IV has been appointed regional marketing director for the broker/dealer division of Traweek Securities Inc.

Ted Zuckerman has been named vice president in charge of business development for Capital Bank of California, Beverly Hills, an affiliate of Capital Bank of Florida. A major focus of his activities will be in real estate investments.

Larry Bookout has joined Woodford & Bernard Architects, San Diego, as technical writer and construction administrator.

Brian B. Cochran, marketing director of office building properties for the western division of Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate Services, Los Angeles, has been named vice president; James E. Hain is now assistant vice president of Real Estate Management Services.

Richard E. Madock has been promoted to vice president/interim manager of Chicago Title Co., San Diego.

C. Alan Arthur is now assistant controller for the Fieldstone Co., Newport Beach. He served as manager of the audit and consulting department for Kenneth Leventhal & Co. for four years.

Sherry Mauer was promoted to vice president of sales marketing at Akins Development Co., Newport Beach; Gary Whiting is now vice president of construction; Rick Seaton and Martin Ward have been named construction superintendents, and Karen Welch has been appointed director of administration.

Larry D. Rundle has been named senior vice president at Home Mortgage Access Corp.(Home Mac), Los Angeles, responsible for customer and program development for the organization's 13-state region.

William David Johnson, senior appraiser for Far West Savings of Newport Beach, has been awarded his Senior Residential Appraiser and Senior Real Property Appraiser designations by the board of governors of the International Society of Real Estate Appraisers; Ralph A. Miller, an independent appraiser in Tustin, and Margaret S. Manaster, president of Real Estate Investment Group of Irvine, have been awarded the SRPA designation.
