Mark Bostic and Scott Thompson each added 14 points for San Diego, which improved its record to 17-8 overall and 7-4 in the conference.
Ken Mulkey scored 18 points for Santa Clara (10-15, 5-6).
St. Mary's 82, San Francisco 76--Guard Paul Robertson scored a career-high 31 points to lead the Gaels to victory at Moraga, Calif.
