Monrovia : Judge Wants Jury Room

February 27, 1986

Judge S. Clark Moore of Santa Anita Municipal Court, which serves Arcadia, Monrovia, Bradbury and Duarte, has asked the county Board of Supervisors for $60,000 to build a jury assembly room. Although Moore and two commissioners hear 28,000 cases annually, prospective jurors who are sent from Pasadena Municipal Court must stand in the hallway or outside until they are called, said Mary Robles, assistant to the court clerk. The court, built in 1953, is one of only two courts in the county with one judge.
