Junior Derwin Appleberry scored 38 points and had 15 rebounds Friday night to lead Christ College Irvine to an 81-63 win over Pacific Christian in a semifinal game of the Western Christian Athletic Assn. tournament in Phoenix, Ariz.
The Eagles improved their record to 25-5. The Deacons finished the season 19-12.
