Tonight's Games : Basketball Regionals Reach Semifinals

Fresno Washington, with a 27-1 record in the Central Section, will play Southern Section 3-A champion Hacienda Heights Wilson (28-3), and Oceanside El Camino, 25-3 in the San Diego Section, meets Southern Section 2-A winner Murphy (20-7) tonight in the semifinals of the Division II Southern California high school basketball regionals.

The games, starting at 7:30, will be at Nogales High School and Cal State Dominguez Hills, respectively.

In the Division III semifinals, Santa Monica Crossroads, 21-7 after winning the Southern Section 1-A title, will take on Carlsbad Army-Navy (17-5) at Carlsbad High, and Southern Section Small Schools champion Cerritos Whitney (22-5) will play Laton of the Central Section (17-6) at West Hills College in Coalinga. Both games are at 7:30 p.m.

There are also three girls' games involving Southland teams tonight at 7:30.

In Division II, Fresno San Joaquin Memorial of the Central Section (24-1) will travel to Ontario High School to face Southern Section 2-A winner Chino (29-1), and San Marcos of the San Diego Section (26-3) will play Oxnard Santa Clara, Southern Section 1-A champion with a 24-4 record, at Ventura College.

In Division III, Southern Section Small Schools champion Yucca Valley (25-2) will play Holtville of the San Diego Section (12-10) at Imperial Valley College.
