Ncaa Division Ii Swimming Finals: : Csun At A Glance

Jeff Kubiak established Division II record in 200-yard individual medley at 1:51.85. He won second straight straight title in the event.

Sophomore Sandy Barnes and freshmen Stacy Mettam, Tina Schnare and Jude Kylander set a national record in the 200-yard medley relay, winning in 1:47.25.

Blair Nogosek unseated teammate Roland King as national champion on the one-meter diving board. King was second.

Reed Gershwind finished 11th in the 100 individual medley, Scott Warren was 11th in the the 500 freestyle and Ben Davis was 10th in the 50 freestyle. All failed to qualify for the finals.

CSUN team took 42-point lead over Cal State Bakersfield in quest of sixth straight national title.
